Snugs has introduced a new earbuds which does tricky things. It’s great having small headphones that can be quickly wrapped up and stored in your purse or pocket, but how comfortable are they? If your ears are just the right size, you’re good to go, but if not, the buds have a tendency to fall out or feel too tight.
Snugs has the solution to the problem: custom made earphones. The UK company started out using a mold procedure that would actually inject the ear canal with paste they would then use to make a mold for putting the product together. These days, however, they are shifting to 3D scanning and printing methods that takes less time and can also be performed on people with ear problems (which was a no-go with the previous process). The resulting, custom-fitting buds then need to be paired with a headset, though the company does offer packages.
