Angel Di Maria will feel the full anger of manager Louis van Gaal – by being made to sweat on his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Manchester United are close to agreeing a deal that will allow the Argentina star to end his year-long Old Trafford nightmare, but now the Dutch boss has decided to teach the winger a regretable lesson with a hard line stance over negotiations.
The two clubs were close to agreement on a fee of £43.7million, but Van Gaal feels the 27-year-old has been disrespectful to the Manchester club and himself... and has responded by ensuring there is no easy get-out to Paris.
Manchester United have now put their foot down by demanding at least £45m for the player and they also want more of the fee paid up front, which could stretch negotiations into next week.
