Suspected Boko haram members have reportedly detonated improvised explosive device(IEDs) at the Kuje Market which is opposite a police station, about 40km south west of central Abuja and also Around a mosque opposite NNPC filling station in Nyanya axis in Abuja.
A resident told information Nigeria that she heard gunshots shortly before heavier sounds were heard. According to her, if she was right about the sounds she heard, there might have been gun battle before the bombs went off and scores of people were recorded dead. Serious Casualties have been taken to National hospital and others to kuje general hospital.
