Mark Zuckerberg has hinted that the future of Facebook will be a version of telepathy. I believe we'll be able to send full rich thoughts to each other directly using technology. You'll just be able to think of something and your friends will immediately be able to experience it too if you'd like. This would be the ultimate communication technology.
He further said that the bulky computers have shrunk to mobile phones we carry around, which will move to tiny wearable devices we wear the entire time - and, although he didn't specifically say it, we may have ended up implanting ones that could read our thoughts and transmit them to others.
